For our first very spooky, very special Halloween episode of the year, we met up at a movie theater and watched the brand new Dracula movie, Dracula Untold!

We came out not sure if we just disliked it or flat-out hated it, and we’re still not totally certain. The more we talked about it, the more we seemed to hate it, though.

We’d kind of like our money back. ┬áIf you dare to spend money on it, Dracula Untold is in theaters now.

Our selection this time around comes to us from donor David Willis, and it’s a 1988 film you may remember if you were a child around that time: Short Circuit 2.

How much do you enjoy seeing a white man play an Indian guy? How about arcane plots about toy manufacturing? What are your feelings about seeing robots get brutally chopped to death with axes?

You get all that and more in this awful, awful movie.

You can check out the movie with us on Netflix, if you dare.

Our movie this time around is a suggestion from listener William Hoffman: The first-ever Chinese superhero movie, Infra-man, a.k.a. Super Inframan, produced by none other than the Shaw Brothers!

It’s part Kamen Rider, part Ultraman, part Superman, and all hardcore kung-fu.

Here’s a spoiler: It was brutal, and we loved it.

You can watch a dubbed version on DailyMotion here.

Also: If you like the show, be sure to review it on iTunes! Help spread the word!

It’s our first official episode of our second season, and it’s a doozy. We’re watching the animated 1985 She-Ra origin movie, Secret of the Sword.

Spoiler warning: It’s the pits. It’s so bad and so boring it barely kept our attention.

And yet we still found a way to talk about it for an hour-plus. We are true heroes.

You can watch the full movie on YouTube here.

We’re kicking off the iTunes era of Movie Fighters with an episode that…well, may be good or may be an unlistenable slog. U-Decide!

For the first fifteen minutes or so, we discuss what our show is all about, how we got here, and what we have planned for the year to come.

After that, we read out the names of every single one of our Kickstarter backers, and Chris decides he’s going to recite a movie quote for each and every name. It goes downhill from there.

If you haven’t listened to any of our previous episodes, you can find all 25 right here, for $1 each! You can also go read all the movie┬áreviews we wrote over at ComicsAlliance!
