We have come to the end of our listener demands, and our last one is a doozy: Not only did we have to watch the abysmal 2000 comedy Dude Where’s My Car, we also had to turn on the assaultive commentary in which the director and stars talk over it.

It was awful. Things get thrown.

You can follow along if you’d like, but you’re going to have to track down a DVD for the commentary!

    I’m sorry.

    I’m so, so sorry.

  2. dopey movie slang that has caught on: i hear ‘i feel like i’m on crazy pills’ from zoolander with stunning regularity. also, ‘i just threw up in my mouth a little’ originated with that movie ‘dodgeball’ somehow.

  3. On the subject of “shibby” – I did know one guy who used it from 2000 to at least 2005, although that was on a pro-wrestling message board so I’m not sure it really counts.

Oh, and as a Scot, I feel duty bound to point out that The Proclaimers are still going and releasing new music. They even have a jukebox musical that was turned into a movie (it’s called “Sunshine on Leith”, perhaps you could have a look for a future episode?). For now, here is their second biggest hit in the UK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuMtZstnoT8

  4. There’s a Chinese place near my house with a drive through, ironically it’s the best Chinese in town, also our local Panda Express has a drive through
